Dandora dumpsite – Energy Processing Plant
Mukuru informal settlement will benefit from roads, water and health facilities

Our plans to establish an energy processing plant at the Dandora dumpsite are underway.
Implementation of this project will be undertaken in collaboration with Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen). Tendering of the plant will be done later this month.
The success of this project will see Nairobi join Durban, South Africa and Addis Ababa in Ethiopia in the league of cities that generate large-scale electricity from garbage
